HOLYTOWN, Scotland – On Tuesday afternoon at the MTK Gym, Ivan Baranchyk and home fighter Josh Taylor completed media workouts ahead of their eagerly anticipated junior welterweight championship bout.
The fight takes place at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on Saturday and is a semi-final matchup of the World Boxing Super Series.
Baranchyk will be defending his IBF 140-pound title against Taylor who is the pre-fight favorite. The Scotsman is rated No. 2 by The Ring at junior welterweight and Baranchyk is rated No 5.
The winner will face off against reigning WBA titleholder Regis Prograis in the tournament final later this year.
